When you look at this picture, you probably just see an everyday personalized gift that you can order online. Well, if you go online to order something like this, you can pick boy/girl, hair length/color, pony tail, hat/no hat, kid sitting on dad’s shoulders, kid standing next to dad. What you can’t pick from the selection boxes is a kid in a wheelchair. (Not that I expected to find one).

So what do you do in these instances?? You reach out to the company and hope for the best. See, if you never ask, the answer will always be no. So I did just that. I am sure glad I did too! Wander Prints reached out to me, told me which size to order and had their design team add a more true version of Carson. They sent me a draft of what they’d come up with and I cried.. and cried… and cried some more. Did I mention yet that they did this at no extra charge?

Today, Aaron’s Father’s Day present arrived and it is PERFECT! I am beyond thankful to Wander Prints for going above and beyond when they didn’t have to.
